Yellowjackets season 3 trailer has been dropped on Paramount

Paramount+ has just released the highly anticipated trailer for Yellowjackets Season 3, offering fans a sneak peek of what’s to come. The trailer hints at long-hidden secrets from the survivors’ pasts, with the tension mounting as the characters fight to keep those dark truths from surfacing.

The previous seasons followed a group of soccer players whose lives were turned upside down when their plane crashed in the harsh Canadian wilderness. As they struggled to survive in a world where every day was a fight for survival, the show delved into their psychological battles, relationships, and the haunting choices they made.

Season 3’s plot picks up as the survivors face a fragile sense of victory. The brutal winter that almost claimed their lives is behind them, but their chances of being rescued are still in jeopardy due to increasing distrust among the group and rising tension within their ranks. According to Showtime’s synopsis, “As summer arrives, the Yellowjackets face a fragile victory—the brutal winter that nearly claimed them is finally behind them, but distrust in leadership and tension within the team jeopardize their chances of being rescued.”

The season will also focus on how their past actions threaten to tear them apart in the present, with the survivors confronting the chilling question: “Who are they really, and what dark truths are they hiding from each other and themselves?”

Returning cast members include Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Lauren Ambrose, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, and Simone Kessell. Additionally, Elijah Wood will return in his recurring role, and new faces like Hilary Swank and Joel McHale will join the cast in Season 3.

Fans can mark their calendars for February 14, when the first two episodes will drop on Paramount+ and Showtime. The countdown to the new season is on, and it’s sure to be filled with even more secrets, tension, and dark revelations.
